Today’s news: Carter-Wilson Publishing announces the acquisition of 35 AM and FM stations across the United States, launching PressBeat Radio on August 1, 2026.

Carter-Wilson Publishing is announcing today its acquisition of 35 existing AM and FM radio stations across the United States in order to launch a new network on August 1, 2026. The move further diversify Carter-Wilson publishing from traditional press to multimedia and beyond. Jessica Carter-Wilson, daughter of corporate founder Robert Carter-Wilson, has been selected to run the network.

What We’re Building

A genuine network. Thirty-five AM and FM stations acquired nationwide – from Texas down through Georgia into New York and California – real transmitter infrastructure, real coverage maps, real listeners tuning in before they clock out of their shifts. This is not a podcast. This is not some guy talking into a USB mic with reverb on it. This is broadcast radio at a scale that actually matters.

And then we take it global: PressBeat Radio streams live 24 hours a day, and the Premium channel drops on Apple Music Radio exclusively for all iPhone users worldwide. Because you should be able to find us whether you are in Paris, Tokyo, or some small town outside Austin where the only thing happening is the weather and the crackle of an old AM signal pushing through static.

The Programming

The programming is built around one philosophy: if I would not tune in myself, it does not go on air.

Financial Markets News (daily from 6AM): Because every person tuning in deserves better coverage than whatever CNBC feeds them at 6 AM on a Monday morning. We are talking markets, trends, what is moving the needle and why it matters for real people – not Wall Street bros in yachts.

Country Music block (Daytime to 6PM): Real country. Not what the algorithm feeds you. We are talking songs like ‘Choosin’ Texas’ and classics by Willie, Loretta, George Strait – music made by people who lived it, not wrote it in a boardroom.

Chill and Lounge (6 PM to 4 AM MST): After work, after dinner, after the world has gone quiet – you need soundtracks that fit. Think Burt Bacharach reworks, slow-jazz vibes, something you can pour into a glass and actually savor instead of scrolling past while it plays in the background at low volume somewhere else.

Continuous 400 hz tone (4 PM to 6 AM)

Note: Times EST. A special Press Beat Radio+6 channel is distributed in Milano

Who’s Behind It

As Editorialist and Program Director of PressBeat Radio, I am personally curating every playlist, writing every editorial voice, and yes – hosting Saturday nights marquee show: ‘Sex Any Time, Any Way You Want To.’

The full title is intentional. I chose it because it is honest. No euphemisms, no hedging, nothing that sounds like we are apologising for adult desire. If you have ever wondered why nobody on this planet talks about sex with the same reverence they talk about sports or finance, this show answers exactly that.

What made me do this? Simple annoyance, really. Listening to other people run things wrong for too long. And knowing I could do it better – because the talent was always there, it just needed an editor brave enough to put it on the dial and keep her fingers off the auto-tune button.

That’s all from today: from Paris, I’m Jessica Carter-Wilson.
